Elysia is born as a 16 year old girl, having been created in a laboratory. She is an experimental model of a teenage clone. Created – or replicated after another young girl had to die before Elysia could be created. Her purpose is to serve in a world of perfection. Elysia is not supposed to feel or to have a soul just like other clones. But something is happening, somehow she is different and just why is feeling the things she does? What will happen if the authorities discover that she can feel and think for herself?
I love the idea of this and can’t wait until it reaches New Zealand shores.
